Hey all :)

I know it's been a while. Seems like I just disappeared! I just want to share good news. Some of you may know that I really like perfume/flagrance. I think it's a big turn off when a girl stinks! I have a collection myself. Anyways, one of my all time favorite fragrance is MAC TURQUATIC from MAC. I was awfully sad when they discontinued it! However, a few weeks ago I found out that they re-released it!!!

They also changed the packaging. And instead of one size, they came out with a roller and a larger size too. Details can be found on their website. I'm just thrilled! A while ago I bought the old version on ebay for the price of $60USD! Mind you the perfume was around $20-30USD back then for the old packaging. I hope to buy one next month around my birthday.

Hey girls! I know it's been a while but I'm actually in class right now. It's finals week and I'm about to give a presentation in a bit. I just wanted to share this video that I came across last night since everyone is talking about it.

I thought it was funny at some point. I believe this girl already took down her video but a few people had it downloaded and now it's on Youtube again. I wonder if UCLA would kick her out or something. I get it, freedom of speech. But then again, why are you being racist? I won't go into details about what I think but what do you guys think about this?

Smooth Soft Silky Hair

My oh my how time flies! I know it has been a few months since I blogged. I wonder if anyone still reads this! I've been so busy with school and work, it's no joke! I know all of us are busy but it doesn't hurt to take care of yourself when you can, right? Today I want to share with you girls about how to make your hair softer. During my hiatus, I found this product to be VERY useful and it ACTUALLY WORKS!

The product that I want to share with all of you is L'Oreal Natures Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Creme. The purpose of this cream is to make your hair softer and smoother. I use this as a conditioner for my hair. I simply use any shampoo brand that I want and just apply this cream on my hair after shampoo. I leave it in about 2-5 minutes and I use it daily. I notice that my hair really does become softer and smoother in about a week, no lie. Girls like myself dyed our hair colors frequently and let's be real here. If you notice, the conditioner that comes with your hair dye box doesn't really work its magic, nor does other conditioners that you buy along with your shampoo. I have never ever found a conditioner that actually works like this one before which is why I want to share this great find. I came across this product when I got a haircut a few months ago. The lady used this on my hair and it smells great so I asked her about it. The bad thing is she was trying to sell it to me for $18.99 a jar. That's bullshit. Girls, you can get this for $13.99 at Sally's Beauty Store. I haven't come across this at CVS, Target, or Rite Aids so check your locals for this product or just visit your closest Sally's Beauty Store. By the way, it is currently on SALES for $10.99 right now so I stock up like a squirrel!

So to sum it all up...

Pros:
-actually affordable (the jar is about 16oz). This is the size I am referring to!
-also comes in a smaller size, which is 8oz. I believe it is $9.99.
-has scent but it's not overwhelming.
-actually works esp. for damaged and dry hair.
-does soften the hair and improve manageability.

Cons:
-not accessible everywhere, can be found only at Sally's Beauty Store (in my knowledge).
-over $10 USD per jar for 16 oz. I know people might think, "DANG! a conditioner more than $10?! Jesus!" but girls, this stuff ACTUALLY works! And a jar can last up to a month or longer. Remember, quality over quantity!!!

Packaging is fine, actually. It's a jar so you twist the cap open and dip your fingers into those yellow colored cream. BAM, easy. No more squeezing those bottles. And you can actually see how much you have left. I don't mind the jar at all.

Ingredients: (from Sally's website word by word)
"Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Amodimethicone, Cetyl Esters, Sodium PCA, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Trideceth-12, Sunflower Seed Oil, Chlorhexidine, Dihydrochloride, Cetrimonium Chloride, Yellow 5."

More information regarding this product can be found on Sally's Beauty Store website. Think about it, if the salon uses it, it has to be good. I gave it a try and it really works. My guy friends randomly play with my hair and tells me it's as soft as a dog's fur. That's how soft it is, if you can imagine. I will not recommend something such as a $13.00 conditioners if it does not work. I have no money or time to waste and I do not want to waste yours. It also comes in a smaller size too if you guys are still not to fond of the price. If you decided to give it a try, let me know how it goes after a week of using it daily.

I know I have been MIA for the past few months. Part of it is because of the scars I have left from shingles on my face (the scar is on the left side of the picture next to my nose area). I am very self-concious because of it. Doesn't help at all because it is on my face. I just felt "ugly" with it even though the scars are fading. Many things happen while I was gone. I got a new hair cut and also dyed my hair again. This is a recent picture of me. Btw, I turned 21 in September! I'm finally legal :D

I have WHAT?!

Hey girls,

I went to the doctor yesterday and turns out I have shingles. If you don't know what it is, google it b/c I am in no mood to explain what it is.

I was really surprised that my female friends reached out to comfort me and told me they all had it too. Some told me they have it on their boob, waist, arm, etc. Mine is on the left side of my face! FACEEEEEEE! I really hate wearing masks to school. It gets hot after a while.

The doctor gave me 3 different kinds of medicine to take. Some makes me drowsy so I sleep A LOT. They also gave me diarrhea...ha..ha..ha

After the first day of taking medicine, I noticed it got better BUT IT'S HELLA ITCHY! Friends told me that if I scratch then it would leave me scars. OH HELLLLLL NOOO! Scars on my face?! It's bad enough that most scar removal products don't work that well (not that I know of). Sigh, sigh, sigh.

I really want to show you guys my new foundation routine! I got my color match recently and I really like the outcome of it, esp. on camera! Once this shingles are gone, I will definitely do FOTD! I miss my beautiful face! *Ok, my face is not drop dead gorgeous or anything BUT HEY, it normally look wayyyy better without the shingles!*

I'm heading to class in about 30 mins. Summer school in the morning sucks so bad right now. It's barely the 2nd day too. I really hate waking up early! I always come home and K.O. right after.

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. Many events happened and summer school starts tomorrow. Despite all the hectic schedule, I was planning to blog this week but then something happened.

It was a normal day until my face hurts. Now I need to see a doctor asap. I have rashes on my face and bumps on my lip. I really don't know what happened or what to think. It's like you wake up and suddenly you become ugly or something. Now my left eye is swollen and I can't really open my left eye. I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow. I hope everything will be okay. I have a picture of my face right now but I won't dare showing it on this blog :(

Personal Taste

Hey girls! I hope everyone is having a great week. Mine is alright, except that one part where a teacher made me cried :'( but that's another story.

Anyways, the title of this post isn't about Korean's drama "Personal Taste," but it's about your preference on makeup. Personally I really like how the Koreans do their makeup. What I meant by that is like, their foundation and such. It looks really clean. I notice that their faces are not matte, not oily, but has that "glow." If you don't know what I'm talking about, just take a look at a picture below:

What do you notice about her foundation? and some people might say, "But that picture has touch up" and such. Doesn't matter. Have you seen Korean music performances? The camera man always zoom in to their faces and their skin looks FLAWLESS. The whole point of me bringing topic up is because I want to achieve this flawless, glowing natural skin look.

I don't know what I'm trying to point out but I want to achieve that look. And I want to ask you girls if there is a particular look that you're trying to achieve? I mean makeup is fun and all but I'm sure we all do our makeup in a certain way because we are inspired by someone's look. So tell me, what's your "personal taste."

By the way, if you haven't notice, I dyed my hair black. This is the color I had back in March. My hair was growing out and that shit gets U-G-L-Y!

Hey girls!

Ok, I know I haven't been updating much for weeks. Lots of things happened.

1) my grandpa passed away a few days ago due to pneumonia

2) its around finals week at school

3) been working A LOT

4) boyfriend's bday just passed

5) another bday is coming up

6) best friend just got back from Europe trip

So have I been keeping up with my working out routine? Sadly to say, not really -_-" I worked out here and there. I still don't have sexy abs but I REALLY WANT TO BY SEPTEMBER because I'm turning 21 ;) teehee

I haven't been wearing much makeup. It's very time consuming for me esp. in the morning. I used to enjoy getting all pretty but then I'm just going to school. I actually got all pretty today in a really long time and I feel a bit awkward while doing my makeup. Have you guys ever feel like that?

I'm planning to buy a MAC APPLE laptop soon :) So excited!

Today I'm going to the mall with bf so I hope I can see some of the new stuff MAC has been coming out.

Hopefully I'll have the time to do an actual beauty post. Idk I feel like it's not my thing anymore. I really don't know.

Forget MIA!

Hey girls!

After reading your comments on my previous post, I was thinking "I don't really have to be COMPLETELY mia just to work out" you know? And a few of you girls were asking if I would show you guys my abs (if I ever have any) in the future, my answer is sure why not! But seriously it needs a lot of work. From muffin to muscles -_-" Honestly my tummy hurts all day today after working out last night. I hate this but I really want it.

On another note, I did well on my midterm today! I'm waiting for my grade *cross fingers* And usually when I have a test the next day, I tend to study and sleep late so I don't wear contact lens when I have tests to take. Some of my friends noticed that and said I look smarter wearing glasses, LOL.

I tend to wear color contacts lens while wearing glasses because I think without the color contact lens, I look really plain and nerdy! Besides, you can't really tell it's violet unless you really stare deep into my eyes in person. With flash, it's definitely violet. How many of you wear glasses too? Show me pictures!!!

AND OH MY GOD I HAVE FOUND MY HG NAIL POLISH! AFTER YEARS AND YEARS, I HAVE FOUND IT! BEHOLD, IT GOES BY THE NAME, Borghese! The picture below, I'm using the color called B330 Milano Taupe.

God damn, look at the consistency of this nail polish! Okay, I'm going to break it down for you guys if you are interested:

Price: Around $7.99 USD depending where you get it

Buy at: CVS and other drugstores (I got mine at CVS)

Pros:

-comes with a fat thick brush so it's easy to get the nail polish color on your nails

-good consistency, it will spread evenly

-typical bottle design

-not tested on animals

-smells normal, just like any other nail polish

-easy to remove! only seconds!

Cons:

-kind of pricey...$8!

-not long wearing if you wash your hands a lot! it chips in a couple of days

Since I really like the consistency of this brand, I decided to get 2 more! I cannot wait to try the red one!

I have heard so much about Rimmel London lipstick and decided to give it a try. I got "070 Airy Fairy" *typo in the picture below*

I say it's one of those pink you can wear everyday for natural look. The lipstick itself smells really good though! Like fruity candy or something. So far it's not bad, I hope I can try other colors. Any suggestions on what other colors I should try? And I really don't like doing lip swatches because I don't really like my lip -_-"

SEXY ABS!

I don't know about every women out there but for me, I desire for the longest time to be fit, healthy, and have sexy abs.

As you all know, I'm into kpop and if you notice, most korean female singers have killer bodies! I'm talking thin waist, tone legs, and nice abs.

I'm sick of looking at my muffin stomach layers hanging out when I'm wearing jeans, when I'm naked, and pretty much 24/7.

I don't want to go in and talk about how those celebrities make us feel bad because they are skinny, fit, have bright white teeth, and such. I don't want to talk about how it's all about personality and how inner beauty is more important. Right now, I want to work on my outer beauty. I really want this for myself. I want to look better than I am right now.

So I'll be MIA for a while. It might be a month long. During the time I'm gone, I will exercise, eat right, and focus on being fit. Also, my bff left for Europe today for a vacation which is also a month long. And if I can have sexy abs by then, it will be a nice surprise to her too because she knows I want this.

I talked about wanting to get my lip pierced and such but never done it. People said if you want something badly, then you will do it no matter what. There is no "if." I really want nice abs and good amount of muscles.

So please cheer me on. I do hope that by the end of February, I will meet my goal. Please wait for me everyone :)

Collective Haul

Hey everyone! I'm at school again typing this. You know they said it's supposed to rain today but I see no rain :P I hate it when weather forecast is wrong! Don't you?!

Anyways, I have tests and projects due next week so I don't really have time to blog :( Midterm is coming! That's why!

However I don't want to leave my beautiful bloggers with nothing so I would like to share you my haul over these 2 months. I didn't buy much since I'm saving for a new laptop! Ahem, Apple of course!

Walgreen was having sales, buy 2 for $5 USD so I snatched them like a crazy woman! I love these masks! :D

I went to Charlotte Russe and got these 2 rings. A snake and rose. They look pretty badass to me! I forgot the price -_-"

I went to some random Asian store and found these! Each for $4 USD! Idk what you call it but it's the thing that keeps your hair away from your face when you do your makeup!

AND OMG HELLO KITTY SWAROVSKI RING! I got this in Korean Town. At first this place was trying to sell this ring to me for $45 but I found it at another place for $13! Thank god I didn't spend $45! You know, there are 2 types of Hello Kitty Addicts. First is the one that WILL spend ANY amount just to have the Hello Kitty. Second is the one that obsessed with Hello Kitty but will not buy every Hello Kitty things they see. Which one are you?! I'm the latter one :P

I went to Mitsuwa and got this mascara from K-Palette. I absolutely love the K-Palette liquid eyeliner so I thought I might as well try the mascara

This mascara said it focus on volume but it's not. Actually, its good for seperating the eyelashes! So if you are looking for a good seperating mascara, this is the one. Beware! When you take the mascara off, there's black little stuff everywhere on your face -_-" But easy to remove

So these are the things that I bought over the past 2 months. Nothing much right? The stuff I bought in this haul is nothing new to me and I have already tried them and stuff but it's fun to look at other people's haul so I might as well share mine :)

I'm currently at school's computer lab to type this. Seriously, my laptop kept turning off because I have a virus and my super awesome boyfriend is going to get rid of it for me soon :D I love nerdy boyfriend, LOL jk jk! He's just super smart <3 I love intellegence. It's effing sexy, don't you think?

Anyways, I wonder what kind of reaction you guys had when you read the title! It's related to EOTD that I did and it looks like what a dirty slut would wear. I bet you guys think I'm going to rant about a dirty slut, LOL!

Usually I forgot what e/s I used for EOTD because this is like 3 days ago. Usually I uploaded pictures that I'm going to blog about like at least a few days ago then when I have time, I just type the stuff and blog, sneaky me :D I bet you guys do it too, right?!

During the weekend, I had a chance to clean ALL of my makeup brushes and trust me, it took more than half an hour, phewww -_-" Here's them drying:

It's raining really hard right now but today I'm prepared! I got my rainboots and an umbrella! Yesterday I didn't have either ones and my regular boots got wet and my socks too. So ladies, bundle up, wear rainboots, and drive safely if it's raining in your area!

New Hair + Maybelline Eyestudio Palette

Hey everyone :)

I am sure that by now, you all have seen or heard about Maybelline Eyestudio Palettes! I'm a big fan of their eyeshadow quads so I thought I might as well try the new ones too.

This is the one I got, called "Green With Envy" I wasn't really interested in other palettes because they have WHITE e/s as highlights and that does not look good on me!

I went to CVS and the first thought I had was..."SHIT these palettes are so small!" Compare to my Iphone, it's even smaller. For some reason I thought they will be bigger so I was like..."Oh...here they are..." kind of reaction

Here is the look that I came up with:

You know, looking at the palette, I thought it will be DARKER or more pigmented...On my eyes, they give soft looks...I was hoping for almost smokey eyes!

So yeah, I am not too please with the new palettes. I prefer the OLD quads that they have. Not to mention, the new ones flake easier. Like when you put your eyeshadow brush and rub the e/s, the powder starts coming out. It's like using Cover Girl's e/s :( The formula from the old quad don't do that! And the old quads are easier to blend too. Anyone else is disappointed with the new palettes? If you have tried it, what are your thoughts? Btw, I don't like the color selection either :/

Purple to Blonde

Hi girls! First I just want to say thank you so much for leaving me kind words on my last post about Dimitri. I'm planning to go look for him again after the rain is over (I heard it's going to rain for a week straight!) and if I don't find him...then I decided to let him go on with the next chapter of his life. That decision makes my mind at ease.

Today I want to show you how I colored my hair. I love changes, especially with the way I look. I have done many colors before and I love changing my style. Every time I run into an old friends, the first thing they would say is "OMG you look so different!" or "You changed your hair!" or something. That is WHY most people can't remember me when they run into me :P

Last year December I went purple. For this color, I went to the salon to get it done just to be safe since I have never done purple myself before and I really like it! My hair is black with purple highlights everywhere

Sadly, after 3 weeks, it faded! See, I'm crying!

See how much it faded?! From purple to like...ugly orange-red?!

So I saw Pink's new do and I love the color! She was talking about this product, L'oreal Excellence Hi Color (for dark hair). I went to Sally's and got one in "H16 Honey Blonde" I believe it was like $5.95 USD or around that price per tube.

This is what I got: all of that cost less than $15 USD vs. going to the salon and spend more than $50 for coloring your hair!

Process: I mixed it all and applied it on my hair. Afterward I wrap it for heat!

After 50 minutes, this is how it looks like prior to washing the chemicals off! The black part of my hair turns brown and the purple highlights turn to blonde highlights!

After using this product, I definitely WILL purchase and use it again! If you don't know, black hair is VERY hard to color! The fact that this product totally changed my hair color is just mind blowing. I've been getting compliments from my friend about my new color too!

As a reminder, don't forget to change your eyebrows' color too! I totally hate it when I see girls with SUPER BLONDE hair with black eyebrows. One word: gross

Uh Oh!

Hey everyone :(

I believe I have a virus on my laptop right now and it's been giving me problems. I am using my brother's right now while he is in the shower. The thing is I can get it fixed but I have some pictures in my laptop that I didn't get to upload YET and I was thinking of using them for blogging too. Ugh, I'm so angry.

But I've been VERY upset about giving Dimitri away. I've been crying and my eyes are so swollen. The thing is he's being kept as an outdoor cat with the rest of the new owner's 10 cats that she has. It's been about more than 24 hours now that I have given him away. The thing is the new owner cannot find Dimitri around her house. She thinks that he is hiding but she believes that he comes out to eat because the food is gone.

The thing is today my mom and her bff went to the area just about 2 hours ago (night time) and she was calling out Dimitri's name and every time she calls his name, a cat meows back every single time. The thing is I do not know if that's Dimitri or the other 10 cats because Dimitri did not come out.

I don't know what else to think.
I am worry that he has no food or water
I am worry that he is cold
I am worry that he is scared
I wonder if he wants to come home or live in the wild
I wonder if he will ever get used to the outdoor

I am GOING crazy. I really don't know. I am so upset. Tomorrow I am planning to go to the area and see if I can find Dimitri. I swear, if I see him, I'm going to put him in the car and take him home. I am so sad without Dimitri. I don't want to eat. I can't sleep.

I wish I would know if he's doing just fine right now. I need to know so badly.

What do you guys think about this situation?

Seriously, right now, makeup and other things don't matter to me. I am just so upset.

EOTD Using Kanebo Kate

Hey everyone! So it's been a few days since I updated because school just started and I've been so busy with school! This quarter I'm taking a photography class, painting class, art history, and a natural disaster class for general education.

Anyways, I want to talk about Kate e/s palette today. I've been DYING to get my hands on this palette for the longest time and finally got it for $24.00 USD!

Kanebo Kate Eye Shadow Gradical Eyes BR-3

It comes in 4 powder eyeshadow and 1 cream eyeshadow. I haven't use the cream one yet so I'm not sure if it's any good.

My real eyelashes are so short, that's why I always put on falsies BUT when I go to school, I don't because I'm just going to school :P

School has been very tiring because on Monday and Wednesday I start from 11:40am until 6:50pm but on Tuesday and Thursday, I have 1 class. However, I have work after that. So it's been really hard for me to update even though I want to update a lot.

Updates:

About Dimitri, I am giving him away this Friday. I'm really sad but there's nothing I can do and I know he will be happier. Sigh.

And about the thieves that stole my mom's purse. It turns out that the video camera works and we DID caught them on tape!!! And guess what? The time in between them stealing her purse and me seeing it was like 3 seconds! I'm so angry when I saw the tape. Of course we are going to turn the tape in to the police but then again, I doubt they will catch these bitches. Ugh!

Btw, blogtv wasn't that good. There were people coming to watch but nobody chats so I have nothing to say. I probably won't do it again -_-

Makeup Collection

Hey everyone. Before I show you guys my makeup collection or how I store them, I just want to let you guys know that I came down with a really bad fever (but I try my hardest to update). The thing about my fever is that I get them from time to time. This one is the first one for 2010. Last year I had this fever several times and the doctor wanted to remove my tonsils.

About my fever, the thing is that first, my neck area will have a big bump and it will swollen. Think of a frog but not too bad. If I touch my neck area or poke the bump, it'll hurt like a bitch. Also, my body feels hot and cold all the time. Like my face will be hot but I'm so cold. So cold that even if I cover myself with 5 blankets and have a heater on, it won't help. Also, when I sleep, I wake up in mad sweat which is gross. Not only that but my saliva smells and taste bad, which makes me not wanting to eat. Also, I cannot see anything bright so I cannot stare at my computer for more than 15 minutes or I'll start cyring. Of course I take medicine but it will take up to a week to be fully healed. When I'm sick like this, my mom will bath me because I have no energy and I cannot drive well. So please bare with me until I feel better. I also get constant pain on my body :(

Anyways, so here is how I store my makeup. I got this at Target, btw

First drawer consists of foundations, blushes, eyebrows related

Second drawer consists of lipglosses, lipsticks, concealers, and makeup bases

Third drawer consists of drugstore makeup such as Maybelline, L'oreal, and etc (all e/s)

Fourth drawer consists of high end (brand names) makeup (all e/s)

Last drawer is the biggest of all so I store my MAC palettes and other palettes there. I also store backup stuff in this drawer

Here is how I store my makeup brushes. They are dirty right now and I'm planning to clean them all this week. I'm not looking forward to that at all

I got this pink container from Steph from DSK :) The first drawer is for my eyeliners only

Second drawer consists of my liquid liners only

Lastly, my mascara and anything related to eyelashes in this drawer

Also, I got this hanger as a Christmas gift from a friend. I think she got it online, I have no idea. I don't put my stud earrings on there though, and I keep my bracelets seperately

Update on things:

1) Dimitri
I believe we found someone to take care of Dimitri. I have no idea when we are going to give Dimitri to her but she loves cats. She has about 10 of them and they are beautiful and friendly. I have thought about this real hard and it does break my heart to give him away but honestly, I think this is the best for Dimitri because 1) our landlord does not allow pets 2) this person knows a lot about cats and will be able to love and take care of Dimitri 3) everyone is not home until night time due to work and school so Dimitri gets lonely sometimes. I really think Dimitri will be happier with her, I really do.

2) Hair
I have dyed my hair since the purple highlights faded. I cannot wait to show you guys my new hair colors! We just have to wait until I get better from this fever.

3) Flaky girl
So do you guys remember about my rant about how this girl doesn't send me my winning prize? She still has not contact me after my rant, you can read it here. I decided that I WILL reveal who she is after I feel better.

Customize Your Keyboard!

Hey everyone! I just want to ask, have you guys ever feel sick of your laptop? Say...you think it's plain and boring? Honestly I wish I can customize everything I have! I love to make everything "my own," know what I'm saying?

The thing is I'm saving up to buy a MAC b/c I will need one since I'm in an Art major. But until then, I have to bare staring at my old laptop. I get bored very easily and wanted to customize it for a while now.

So the other day I was at Korean Town and I stopped by some random cute store and found stickers for keyboard. Basically it's for customizing your keyboard and it doesn't have to be a laptop, it can be a regular PC keyboard too. The thing is there was this HELLO KITTY design but it was like $16.99 per sheet (1 sheet is good for 1 keyboard) and I was like "Oh hell no, I ain't paying that much!"

Turns out other designs that are not HELLO KITTY are for $2.99! The only downfall for me is that it's in both English and Korean. My keyboard originally has Thai and English on it since my dad got me this as a gift from Thailand. I don't mind since I barely type Thai on this laptop.

3D Nails!

Hey everyone! Today it's going to be a quick post and I'll tell you why after showing you guys these bling bling kawaii 3d nails!

Do you remember my haul recently? If not, click here. I mentioned that I found some pre-glue nails for cheap. The brand is called Abella, I believe. Well, I decided to put them on a few days ago and this is how they look like!

The length of these nails aren't too long so if you like short fake nails, these are a-okay!

This is the close up of the 3d design, cute eh?

I like how my hands look when I have fake long nails but let's face it, it's uncomfortable. Why? Because I need to scratch my ass, pick my nose, wear my contact lens, and so on. I can't even text as fast with acrylic nails :(

But then again, it's too cute so I deal with it.

Here's my take on these nails!

Pros:

This can happen to you:
Okay, and here is what happened today. As you all know, my family has a Thai restaurant. I work there when I don't have school and summer time. It is a family restaurant so we don't hire other workers. Anyways, today there were these 5 mexican females that came into the restaurant. 2 adults and 3 teenagers. When they came in, they all walked up and surrounded the counter and look at the menu and kept talking in Spanish. They can't really speak English that well. My mom and I kept telling them to go sit down at the table but they refuse to for a while even though they want to eat in. So basically nothing happened. They got their food and ate and there was a time that my sister has to go use the restroom and they told me they wanted something so I went into the kitchen to get it. When I came out, 1 woman was at the counter saying "Check check!" and paid in cash. After they paid, they all ran out quickly. So I was like thinking wth in my mind. Two hours later, my mom found out her purse was stolen! Our purses are under the counter and I think that's why they refused to sit for a while. They were probably looking inside the counter! Those sneaky bimbos! My mom had to call all credit card companies and found out they were trying to use her cards but unable too. However, there were a lot of cash in there, including driver license, house key, car key, paper works about car and restaurant. Basically my mom's purse has a lot of important shit in there so we are fucked. Right now my family and I are busy with changing our house keys and locks and everything. Tomorrow I have to go to the DMV and banks with my mom to change everything. So I'll be busy for a few days doing errands with my mom since they have every information about my family including my social security numbers and my siblings too. Can you imagine this happening to you? I called 911 and report the incident. The thing is we have cameras in the restaurant but my mom told me it's not working! DARN! I'm just so angry talking about this. I just want to share this with you guys and warn ya'll about stealing. It's holiday season so BE CAREFUL!

Okay, I have to go change my stuff too so I'll post again in a few days. Also, school starts on Jan. 3rd for me.

Fail to Deliver (Rant)

Hey everyone. This is going to be a rant about giveaways so feel free to skip if you want.

So here's a story:
I won a giveaway WAYY back in November and the this person (who I shall not name, yet) "flake" on me. Basically This giveaway was announced back in Oct 2009 and I was picked as a giveaway winner in Nov 2009. This person contacted me asking for my address on the day that it was announced and I gave her my information. I waited for the package but it never came. So I decided to email her on Dec 10, 2009 (for the first time) and asked nicely if she has sent it out. She emailed me back saying that she will the next day or so. Days passed by and as of today, I still NEVER got my package. I emailed her again on Dec 24th (for the second time) to see if she send it out by now but no reply and I'm so sick of waiting, you know? The point about this rant is the fact that this person has not keep her words! She said she would but never did. How would you girls feel if this has happened to you?

What I want to talk about is the time period. I'm talking about "how long is it TOO LONG for you to receive a package?" I mean it's ALMOST 2 months now and she is just being flaky. As for me, I always keep my words. For example, I told my fellow blogger that I will send her package out the next day and I did. At first I was really upset about not getting the goodies but now, it's not really about that anymore. I'm more upset about how this person did NOT keep her words. The thing is, if you are too busy to send out the package or whatever, they why would you EVEN have a giveaway in the first place. You know what I'm saying? And get this: this person held ANOTHER giveaway and have announced new winners after this incident. Okay, first of all, this girl didn't even send out my package and she had another giveaway? How funny. I find this situation really disappointing. I can't believe that someone on blogspot who shares the same passion as me and other girls about makeup, will lie about this. This person is the kind of person that ruins the fun out of giveaways. Seriously, she kept saying she didn't forget and she would send it out but she never did. The longest time period that I waited for my package is 1 month. But this is ALMOST 2 months now and let's face it, this person is probably NOT going to send out the package.

At first I wanted to reveal who the person is but I'll wait and see what happens. I hope that this person is ashamed of herself. I actually follow this person's blog and comment from time to time and we are nice to each other. I just can't believe she would turn out to be this kind of person. The reason that I decided to rant about this is because she never response to my second email. And let's face it, I don't want to "nag" about this package anymore.

Merry Christmas + Pink Haul

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

So this year I don't have a Christmas tree at my house. My family is still not fully recovered from bad economy. We usually don't celebrate Christmas but we still have a tree and gifts. This year, it's just gifts and it's pretty much like any other days. Anyways, I have a PINK HAUL to share with you guys!

Maybelline Lipsticks! I just can't get enough! They are so creamy and they have lots of color choices. I swear everytime I walk pass by their section at a drugstore, I just had to look and see. This time I got "pink plaza" and "make me pink."

And while I was looking to see if Lumene makeup remover were on sales (they weren't), I saw this traveling size eye cream (around $3 USD). It's a firming day cream and the packaging is just too cute. It was affordable and cute so I got one. I know it's a firming cream but like Michell Phan on youtube always say, that you should start early & prevention is key. I haven't tried it yet but it smells good.

I was at Santa Anita mall and passed by this random Japanese cute store. I happen to find this Hello Kitty case. At first I didn't know what it was.

Turns out it's for your lip! The color is wayyyy too shimmery/glittery. I believe it has about 5-7 shades? It cost me around $2 USD. Honestly even though the packaging is cute, the lippie stuff inside is not worth it. I used it and notice how dry it was on my lip. And did I mention the glitter? Omg, it looks like I kissed tinkerbell. The color I got is nude but when I used it, it looks like frosted nude-ish orange. Not so pretty...

And a few days ago I had a reunion with my high school friends. We all went to city walk and saw the movie "Avatar." At first I didn't want to see it but SHIT IT IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE! Seriously, it is SUCH A GOOD MOVIE! I was blew away. The bad thing is I saw it in 3D and it was 3 hours long. My friends and I ended up with a headache after the movie :P Anyways, we walked around and bought stuff. Here is a picture of me and ms. kim! I swear, she ALWAYS look good.

And here is my BFF and I :) From looking at the picture, can you guess what is her nationality?

Also, my mom's birthday is on Xmas Eve :) She turns 48. We surprised her with cake at midnight and yes, we are in our pjs. And yes, that's me without makeup. Notice how Dimitri looks fatter :) AND we got her a HK candle on the cake!

Another thing I noticed the other day is that I notice how my followers decrease. Honestly at first I was sad, thinking "aw someone unfollowed me...they probably think I'm boring or something now." But a few days later I was like "whatever. who they want or not want to follow isn't my business" but then again I noticed how I don't blog as much as before and I don't review products as much as before or ya dee ya da. My thoughts on people unfollowing me is pretty much like "okay, you follow me? thank you for reading and following. unfollow? it's cool, whatever floats your boat" So my question is, how do you feel when you noticed that people unfollow you? Do tell me your feelings on that :)

I'm still having a blog sale but seriously, what took them (post office) so long to send me those boxes?!

And I got a new hair flat iron. Can't wait to share it with you guys once it arrives.

New Hairstyle!

Haul (Great Finds!)

Hey everyone! So today I want to share my great finds with you guys! Take a look! :)

Disclaimer: The products I mentioned below are bought with my own money. No company send me these products. I discovered about these products on my own. My opinions are from my own experience with these products.

So have you guys heard about this lip balm yet?! The brand is called EOS, I believe. This lip balm definitely looks different than normal chapsticks. I believe that they also have different shade/flavor but the one I got is in "summer fruit"

I got this at Rite Aids for $3.00-$4.00 USD. The lip balm is in an egg shaped but it can stands by itself, it does not roll around.

This is how it looks like when you open it. At first I had fun using this lip balm but the quality isn't as great at carmex or nivea. What I'm trying to say is it doesn't seem to moisture my lip as much as carmex. It's not as creamy and the layer of the moisture seems thin. Pretty much I say skip it, you can find a better lip balm. However, this smells pretty good :)

AND DID YOU KNOW, CARMEX CAME OUT WITH A CHAPSTICK FORM?!?! So if you love carmex, go get it now! I got this at Rite Aids too for $2-$3 USD! This one is in clear satin gloss finish! I believe this is the only shade/flavor though. Still, I'm happy that they finally make it in a tube form!!

And I picked up some new foundations that I haven't tried yet. So far, I'm loving the Revlon one. I FINALLY found my shade for the Revlon one! Took me forever to find my shade!

And it's said it is made in Indonesia! These are pretty cheap too ($1.49 USD). I found it at this random store though and I do not know where else carry these. But if they are good, I'm going to stock them up like crazy BECAUSE Shisem (Korean brand) raised up their prices! It's like $5 a box/pair now! CRAZY! I'm not going to spend $5 on 1 pair of fake eyelashes!

And this one is for people who loves to get their nails done! I'm talking about those 3D nail art, all bling bling out! It is pretty expensive to get it done and very time consuming (hours) but I found this at the same store that I found Miss Adoro lashes. They are 3D pre-glued nail sets, each for $1.99 USD! So far I only saw 3 styles but I got 2 for now. I hope they have more selections.

I didn't know the brand Beauty Treats have eyeshadows! I know they make makeup wipes (I talked about those before). This palette cost me $1.99 USD. I believe there are no names on the palettes. AND there is an expiration date on the back of this palette too!

FOTD & Beware of Nair!

Hey everyone! Guess what? I'm on winter break now! YAY! :) I know I haven't update but I've been taking pictures like crazy so expect a few posts coming up! This time I did FOTD/EOTD for you guys. It's really simple but I forgot what I used for my eyes since it's been like a week -_-

I went to Mitsuwa the other day and picked up this candy. It's milk flavor and I'm totally hooked! I can't wait to get some more!!!

And I was playing around with my eyes a couple of days ago. I noticed that I always put e/s on everywhere on my eyes but never just the lid so I gave it a try.

AND STAY AWAY FROM NAIR IF YOU HAVE SUPER SENSITIVE SKIN LIKE ME!

The whole point of Nair is that it removes your hair without shaving. This one is for body use only. A friend of mine suggested this to me and it worked well for her. The first time I tried it, everything was fine. Basically you squeezed out the lotion and put it all over the area you wanted to get rid of hair. I put it on my arms. The first thing I noticed is the annoying tingly sensation. It doesn't feel good at all. Feels like a whole bunch of ants are biting me! But hey, no pain no gain so I stick it to and it removed all of my arm hairs.

I tried it again for the second time about 4 days ago and look what happened after I did the whole process! I got RASHES on my arms! BOTH of them!

I did followed every instruction that was on the tube. I did felt the horrible tingly sensation that is like ants biting me and everything. The first time I tried Nair, after I wash everything off, my skin was red for 10 minutes and it went away. So what went wrong this time? The thing is, if you look at the formula on the back of the tube, it is a pretty strong chemical. If you have super sensitive skin like me (can't wear fake gold/silver = rashes, cold weather = hives, etc), then I say avoid this product at all cost. Find another alternative. I know some people who used Nair and they are okay so try this product at your own risk! As for me, I'll stay away. The rashes are getting better but it's still there and today is the 4th day. It's very itchy and I've been putting cold water and cream on it. Sigh.

Dimitri time! So my mom saw a necktie at Target and she got this for him. Originally there is no bell on the tie but my mom used the bell from the old collar and sew onto the tie. I thought Dimitri will take this off but he doesn't so I'm guessing it's comfortable for him :)

Here is a proof that Dimitri loves my brother more than anyone. Seriously, Dimitri doesn't seem to like me much :( Look at them cuddling! I took out my brother's face b/c I think he doesn't want to be on my blog.

I also have a question for cat owners! Do you guys shower your cat yourself? Or you have the professional do it? I went to Petsmart before but they charged A LOT! Like $48 for shower, clean ears, and cut nails. Even if I want just the shower, it's still $48! The first time I took Dimitri there for shower, it was $31 and yesterday I called in to ask for the price just to make sure before I make an appointment, they said $48. I asked them why and it's b/c last time Dimitri is 4 months and still a kitten. He's 7 months right now and they want to charge $48 so I said forget it. I gave him a bath myself last night and it was't pretty. I don't want to deal with it but $48?! Come on! :(

Well, that is all I have to say for this post. I hope everyone is doing well. The weather here is VERY cold lately! Like 58 degrees or something! I'm so glad school is over until Jan. Although I'm on winter break, I have to work at my family restaurant, booooo!

EOTD Purple Villain & Another Lipstick!

Hey everyone! So like I said, I'll try my best to do more EOTD! Yesterday I did a green look inspired by emerald city from the WICKED! Today, I'm feeling purple. I call this, purple villain! Btw excuse the redness on my face, I only did 1 eye, not the whole face!

About the contact lens, this one is the same pair that Eki talked about a few days ago! I got this on Halloween at a store near my house but you can check it out at this website here. It is the VENUS VIOLET one. I got it for $39.99 but I believe the website has a different price.

Hey everyone! First I just want to thank those who left me nice comments about my rant. I really appreciate it :) Seriously I feel so much better after ranting!

Anyways, as I promised! I said that I will try to do EOTD more often since I'm not buying any makeup and I don't feel like doing reviews for a while. Honestly I'm just doing 1 eye and posting it. I feel lazy to do 2 eyes and I'm not going anywhere, haha ><" This look is inspired by WICKED. There was a scene called emerald city and everything was green! I went to see the play twice! Hopefully I can go again with my bf, he hasn't seen WICKED yet. Did anyone see it?

Btw, I didn't use fake eyelashes for this picture. Do you guys prefer me using it? I feel like it's blocking my eyeshadow so I skipped it!

I feel like it doesn't look great in person but once I took a picture of it, it looked WAYYY better! I used coastal scents 78 palette for this. I believe there are 2 palettes for 78 e/s but the I one I used is the picture below!

Sike! It's a wig ;) I didn't cut my hair for real! My gma (grandma) got me this wig. The quality is REALLY good. I couldn't take a picture of the wig by itself. It looks HILARIOUS I tell you! But that's what I had on for Thanksgiving!

My bf and I have a mickey mouse picture frame (we don't have the same exact one but both are mickey mouse!) just for the heck of it. I got this for both of us when we went to Disneyland. He finally put a picture in it! We couldnt decide which picture to put in his frame. I have a different picture in my mickey mouse frame. But yea, he surprised me with this picture, LOL!

For a good laugh, this happens everytime I color my hair! I have my gear (raincoat) ready and get messy! And yes, that's me without makeup. Look at these eye bags!!! Oh! I got my eyebrows waxed to! I request the lady to give me more arch because I don't really have it (if you look at my old eyebrow pictures).

Last but not least, I want to let you all know that Dimitri decided to become a cat model. See it for yourself! :)

LOL! I love how Dimitri blends in with the color of the blanket! Originally he is white/orange cat but the orange seems brown to me :P When he sleeps in this blanket, I can't find him!

Hey everyone. This post isnt going to be about makeup so feel free to skip unless you want to read. I just feel like blogging about my thoughts/feelings today.

Anyways, I'm at school right now. This is the last week of school and next week is finals week. I bet everyone is studying like crazy. I have to study too but I feel so lazy :( I just don't feel motivated at all. Not in school, not in makeup, not in anything. I've become a couch potato...

Update on Dimitri. So pretty much he got neutered and his balls are gone. I don't really see changes in his behavior. He's been making new noises a lot and he talks a lot. I wish I can understand what he's meowing about. Tomorrow Dimitri has a check up appointment to see how he's doing after getting neutered. Lately my mom and my sister are on my case about Dimitri. The thing is they prefer DOGS and when I brought Dimitri home without consent, they were upset with me. Since August until now, my mom seems to be fond of Dimitri but she doesn't like cat's personality. She was talking about how he's moody or she's petting him while he's on her lap then he'll nibble her hand. Dogs don't do that. And she doesnt like that Dimitri scratches ALL THE TIME. Basically he attacks? Like say he's walking on my mom's desk while she's using the laptop. At one point he'll fall and he'll try to grab onto my mom's arm using his nails. The other day he did that and my mom bled. I love Dimitri but I don't like how he's hurting my family (unintentionally). They talked to me about giving him away for adoption (or to someone I know if they want Dimitri). They told me they've been putting up with Dimitri for me. Sure there are some fun times with Dimitri but there are lots of CONS...more than PROS. I asked a friend of mine to see if his mom wants it since their cat got ran over a few weeks ago. They said they want to think about it. Honestly I don't want to give up Dimitri. He's my VERY first cat. It makes me frustrated to know that Dimitri isnt behaving well or friendly as a dog as my family would like. Sigh..BUT on the funny side, Dimitri LOVES my brother. I can pretty much say Dimitri is GAY for my brother!!! Dimitri always follow him, sleep with/on him, always kissing him and stuff. My brother is okay with cats but sometimes if he's playing games on the laptop and Dimitri is trying to sit on the laptop, he won't like it. I took a picture last night of Dimitri being on top of my brother while he's laying down. I swear it looks like Dimitri is raping him, LMAO! I'll post up that picture soon :)

Makeup wise. I haven't feel inspired at all. Notice I don't really do EOTD or FOTD or NOTD anymore. Why? I work at a family restaurant and my mom wants CLEAN nails so I'm not allowed to paint my nails or have it all pretty at work. I don't want to paint my nails and have to take it off in like 4 days, you know? But on the other hand, since I haven't been painting my nails besides cutting it, it's pretty healthy now. Remember when I blogged about how my nails turned blue from painting it too much without a break? Hahaha. I RARELY put on makeup now. Like out of 7 days, I probably put on makeup only on 1 day. Sad isn't it? I feel like, I'm just going to school, nobody to impress, no event to dress up for. And at the end of the day I'll have to wash it off. I just feel like it's not worth the effort. But then again, when I decide to do my makeup, I feel pretty all day long :P But I'm thinking about just doing ONE eye makeup and take a picture of it and post it on the blog, LOL. I'm that lazy. What have I become?!?!?! I mean sometimes I do reviews on products. I usually take a long time to think about the product and do a review because I do not like SHITTY reviews! So either I do it all the way or not at all. I haven't been buying makeup either because of NO MONEY! Really, my bank account is like...dead. I hope my family can recover from bad economy soon.

Clothes. I haven't been into makeup lately. I'm more into clothes right now. I want to wear nice things and of course, requires money. I don't dress to impress anyone. I just like to LOOK GOOD for myself. I want to update my closet. Lately I'm into leggings. I don't really like to wear pants anymore. Right now I rather spend my money on clothes rather than makeup. I mean, look at my makeup stash! Those who have saw it said I have too much and it's true. I do have a lot. That's why I haven't been buying anything. I want to focus on the things I have and finish it. I mean if I ran out of lotion then I'll buy it. I mean eyeshadows and stuff that lasts a really long time. But once in a while if I see what I like and have money for it, I'll buy it.

Money stress. Having little money stress me out. I'll say this with no shame, MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY AND CAN BUY ME HAPPINESS. You know there's a saying, money can't buy happiness? That doesn't apply to me whatsoever. Money makes me happy and can create a joyful feeling for me. For example, having a good education opens up a bigger opportunity, right? It's kind of like that. Although money is just papers, it can BRING and GIVE me happiness. Like if i were to go shopping, I get clothes, I'm happy. Like I want to buy a gift for my friend, then my friend is happy then I'm happy. Or like I want to eat good food and I have money to afford it and eat it, then I'm happy. See the pattern? I don't CARE what anyone says about that. Money and materials makes me happy. It makes me enjoy life. I know when I'm dead I can't bring things with me and my mom kept saying materials are just thing. I mean little things that dont require money can ALSO make me happy but money ALSO definitely bring me happiness/joy. I know life is short and I want to enjoy it. And if I have a lot of money, then I can go on trips, see the world, and do all the things that I want to do which will make me happy. Get it? My parents or other people always lecture me when I say money does bring me happiness. They kept saying I don't get it and money don't bring me happiness. Bullshit. It does! To me, at least. Do you guys feel the same way? I'm curious. I know I probably sound so materialistic/bitchy/selfish right now but that's WHO I AM. I do have a good heart but I do care about things like that. I ain't no mother theresa! I'm a good person, but that THAT good. I'm pretty content with that.

Discovering. Back in high school I can say that I always try to fit in with the crowds. But ever since I entered college, I've realized that I don't really need to do that. You know I always see a bunch of people hanging out, like a crew or groupie of their own. At first I envy them and I want to have a big groups of friends to go out with and do everything with. But in a way, I realized that it's not me, that's not how I am. Today, I only have my family, boyfriend, bff, and Dimitri in my life. Sure I do know a lot of people from highschool and I do have a lot of friends on facebook but they are not people who I hang out with, share my thoughts and feelings with, etc. Basically what I'm trying to say is I don't try to make friends anymore. In college, classes change every 3 months. I've met all kinds of people, like those who just want to "be friends" til class is over and "keep in touch" on facebook but I'll never see them again kind of people. My bf told me that when I get into a higher level classes, people are NICER and actually want to talk to you and I guess, "networking" or something. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I used to be the kind of person that approaches people and befriend with them. I do believe that I am sincere to my true friends. I'm very caring. But I feel like other people don't give a shit about the good things about me (besides my family, bf, and bff). That's why I stop caring or trying. I mean I do make new friends but I feel like what's the point when they aren't gonna be there forever. I don't really know what point I'm trying to make. Sometimes I feel like I say stuff but I'm not sure what point I'm trying to make -_-"

Youtube. A few weeks ago, I deleted all of my youtube videos that I have made. When I told that to my bf, he was really sad about it. I told him I deleted it because I'm embarrased of it and I feel like it's a shitty video. (I still have my account though). You see, I feel like I'm not ready to put out videos on youtube for people to see. Youtube is a very cruel world! I feel like at blogspot, I have an audience who are interest in what I'm talking about VS. youtube who can just come over to your channel and say shit. Besides, I don't like how it takes so long to upload a video! And I don't have a good quality camera or my own room/space to do tutorials or whatever. Basically I feel like I'm not ready and I don't like to make shitty videos. Like yoda's saying, do or don't there is no try! But basically my bf was sad that I deleted the ones I've put up. He said that this is important because it is about how I see myself. He seems to be worried about it. I told him the reasons. Like how I don't feel pretty, I don't like my voice and one time someone in my fraternity made fun of me because he saw my youtube videos. My bf told me to not pay attention to it but I was really embarrassed about it. I don't think I'm cut out on youtube, at least not now.

Bff rant. I'm kind of mad at my bff but she doesn't know, LOL. I know we are very different from each other, like black and white. But we've been friends for about 5 years now. Ive known her since highschool. We've gone through so much together too. What makes me angry is that everytime she has a bf, she seems to care about him more than me. Like she'll get him gifts and she doesn't even buy me a bday present. I know we both are low on cash but I did tried my best to get her something nice/that she'll like for her bday and when it's my turn, she didnt get me anything. I mean a card is good enough but c'mon now. I'm freaken materialistic. I'm sure she knows me well enough to know that a card isnt enough for me. I don't like that she treats her bf better than how she treats me. I've been there for her for years and boyfriends come and go. And who's there to help her and pick up the pieces and make her feel better? ME. I've been GREAT to her and she's been good to me too but sometimes it's ridiculous. I just don't feel important in her life anymore, I guess that's what I'm tryin to say. I'm angry that she always put her bf first before me. Sometimes I just want to ask her if she knows that boyfriends don't last and that I'm alway going to be there for her? Lately I havent talked to her as much because she doesn't really call or text me. I know we both have school, work, and other things in our seperate lives but I believe that it is important to keep the people that are important to you close and at least text/call to say hi how are you doing. I mean think about it, you are who you are today because of them who have made an impact in your life. OR MAYBE I'm overthinking this. I mean after all, we are very different. Maybe what's important to me isnt as important to her. And again, I don't have a lot of girlfriends who I can trust. She's been the only one who have lasted through years. I feel like we are not BFF anymore, more like an old friend. One time I read something on a magazine that says, girls need 9 types of friends in their lives. Like best friend, old friends, friends that have common interest with, friends who you admire, etc. I wish I can find that article in a magazine again. I'll try to find it and let you guys read it. I think it was a very good article for everyone! Okay back to the point, I just feel like we have become more distance and it takes 2 to tango. If I try hard and she barely put in effort, then I don't know where this friendship is going anymore. I'm confused, angry, and hurt. I don't even know how to talk about this to her. I don't even know where to start.

Neopets. I know it sounds silly but I'm back to playing neopets. I used to have so many accounts because I always get hacked but yeah, it keeps me away from boredom. I'm at the school computer lab right now and I'm kind of embarrassed to let people see that I'm on neopets. LOL. I'm pretty thick skin (have you heard of that saying?) but sometimes the weirdest thing makes me feel embarrassed. I can openly talk about period and stuff but yeah. Know what I'm saying?

Wow I feel A LOT better after typing these feelings away. I feel so much better now.

By the way, I still read everyone's blog but I haven't been commenting. Sometimes I when I read about your personal life on the blog, I don't feel like replying it online. I prefer in person but then again we all live far away. Usually I read it, think about it, and keep it in my mind. So usually when you guys mentioned about little things in your life, I know what you guys are talking about. I feel like a stalker :( LOL

Hopefully I can do EOTD (jsut one eye, hahaha) and share it with you guys soon!

And last but not least, L'oreal Waterproof Makeup Remover! I know there's a blue one too but I prefer waterproof!

Lipstick Fever

Hey everyone!

One time I read something from a magazine and it said: out of all the cosmetic products, lipsticks are the #1 item being purchased during bad economy. Why? Because women are sad about having to cut short so they buy lipsticks to make them feel more confident/sexy and to cheer themselves up. Have anyone heard/read that?

Anyways, I've been having a lipstick fever. Recently I bought 3 at a drugstore and I want to share it with you guys :)

I love this one! It's toward nude with little shimmer. If you are going for a smokey eye, this will do :)

Definitely pink and has a bit of shimmer, it's okay to me.

This one is actually a darker tone of nude. Seems to me that it has a bit of brown in it too.

Today I want to talk about eyebrows. As you all know, eyebrows frame your face. There are many different types of eyebrows and arch. Some people are blessed with a full hair eyebrows, and some (like me) barely has hair on my eyebrows. My eyebrows hair are very thin so I have to draw my eyebrows to make it appear fuller. If you are like me, keep reading!

So since I have to fill in my eyebrows, I have to look for the right color to match my hair. I believe that you have to go 3 shades LIGHTER than your hair color. And you see, I'm one of those people who likes to change my hair color all the time! Does this sound like you too?! If so, this product might be just for you!

Introducing, Sonia Kashuk Arch Alert Brow Kit! (what a weird name...they should have called it eyebrow kit! LOL).

I got this kit from Target for $9.99. On the website, the kit looks a bit different but I believe it's the same palette. I guess they are updating the look of the kit? But what makes this kit so great is that it comes in 4 shades!

About this kit: It comes in 4 shades (light brown to darker brown, different shades of brown). The texture of this product is creamy. Does not come with any brush.

4 Shades:
1) The top left color is toward brownish red. I would recommend this shade for brown reddish hair.
2) The top right color is toward creamy light cappuccino brown. I would recommend this for blonde hair.
3) The bottom left color is the darkest brown. I would recommend this for dark brown hair.
4) The bottom right color is light brown. I would recommend this for light brown hair.

Pros:
-The product is already creamy so I don't have to put primer or wax on first. I can just use the product right away
-Comes in 4 shades. This is great for people who have hair color from blonde, reddish brown, to brown
-Small kit, it will fit into your makeup bag for sure
-The kit is easy to open, it's magnet. However it won't open by itself
-No animal testing

Cons:
-This product does not have a shade for people who have black hair

Okay, I really don't like to say this but Dimitri has been such a bitch lately. I swear, he has attitude problem and always moody. The other day he was on the dining table (I need to get rid of this bad habit of his) while my family was eating. So I blew his face so that he'll be annoyed and will get off the table. Turns out, he attacked me! He scratched my arm. It would have been my face if I didn't block fast enough. I know I blew his face but seriously!

I think part of him being moody is because he hasn't been neutered. I have been told that if I'm going to keep Dimitri as a house cat, he needs to be neutered. At first I didn't like the idea b/c that just seem sad you know? But the other day he went and sat on my laptop. Then he made a pose like he was going to pee but instead, I saw something tiny and red. It was his wee-wee! And there was like a clear liquid coming out. I freaked out and grabbed a tissue and put it under his wee-wee b/c he was on my laptop! I swear at that moment I thought my laptop was a goner!

So I took him to the vet yesterday and they told me he was ready to be neutered. It will cost about $179.00! For those of you who have cats, is it THAT pricey?! And the vet told me she wants to keep Dimitri overnight (which is fine with me). So he is scheduled to be neutered this coming up Monday and I will have him back by Tuesday. I hope this procedure will go well. Do I have to do anything with him afterward? I hope he'll be okay. Honestly, I'm not comfortable with having a pet neutered but I think this is the best for all the problems that have been happening (like he's moody, leaking white liquid stuff, etc). I also heard it's good for cats' health too. Am I a bad person for doing this? I never ever had any of my dogs neutered or spayed before :(

MAC Haul, BB Cream Review, and Chocolate Sheet Masks!

Hey everyone! So I'm back with a MAC haul & a review. Let me start of with my MAC haul. So first, I got this at a cco for $30!

It's the "6 smoke and mirrors" quad. Comes in 6 natural colors (brown shades mostly). It's great for school or neutral looks.

The highlight color on the TOP LEFT barely shows on my skin though -_- I noticed that some highlights color don't really work on me, such as MAC e/s called Ricepaper. So many people raved about it but it doesn't show well on me. It works for my friend though. I guess it depends on your skin shade? :P

And yes, my first MAC concealer. I got a nordstrom gift/note card (whatever you call it). So I got this for free :) With tax, this cost about US $18

The MAC girl at the counter picked this for me. And let me rant on this. I don't know if you guys have this problem but most of the time, like 9 out of 10, girls who work at MAC counter are BITCHES straight up! I barely met nice girls there. They always have this attitude like, "Oooo I work at MAC, I know a lot about makeup" and they seem to judge you if you don't do your makeup well. Seriously, I'm there and I just want a concealer but I was afraid that I'll pick the wrong one so I asked for help and she just gave me a look as if "Why can't you do it yourself?" I swear, what a bitch.

Now, for my BB Cream review. This is actually the FIRST BB cream that I purchased not long ago. It's the Super BB Cream Gold Label. I got this for $65 plus tax. It's pretty pricey. I like it but don't love it and here's why.

Not Loving: From my experience with this BB cream, it gives me a sheer coverage. It doesn't cover up my mold or scars that well. The ONLY thing it seems to do, is cover redness on my face. If I want more coverage, I'll have to put something on top of this BB cream. And another thing I don't like about this BB cream is that when you apply it on your face at first, it makes your face whiter, like a ghost. Then after a while, the color changes. So if I'm in a hurry to do makeup, I don't have time to wait around til my face turns to a natural color.

Loving: What I like about this BB cream is that it doesn't melt or goes on my clothes. What I'm trying to say is if I'm wearing glasses, the foundation on my nose won't disappear. And let's say I'm cuddling with the boyfriend, it won't smear on his clothes. I usually have that problem with other liquid foundation. Another thing I like is that there is no scent on this one. I didn't smell a thing.

So will I repurchase this? Probably not (price factor too -_-) I like it enough to use it but I think I can find another BB cream that I can LOVE. Also, the shade selection is limited. I believe there's a pink one too but that one has glitter.

Now, let's talk about masks! Lately I feel like I've gone through so much stress and I just need to feel relaxed. The other day I was at Mitsuwa and I found these Bihada Masks in chocolate! I did a review/haul on other Bihada masks before but I'm very interested in this one b/c it's chocolate scent! Here is how it looks like:

BOOOO! haha, I hope I didn't scare anyone. The mask isn't brown, it's actually toward reddish brown. When I first opened the package, I smelled chocolate right away but it's not a real chocolate scent. It's more toward artificial chocolate syrup kind of scent but I'm not complaining! It smells sweet and I really wanted to eat it. What I like about Bihada masks is that it fits my face almost perfectly!

After 15 minutes, I took the mask off and the instruction said to rub my skin with the left over liquid on my face. I did as it said and after a while, I noticed that my face feels refresh BUT sticky! So I had to wash it off b/c I can't go to sleep with a sticky face. Overall it was a fun and pleasantly sweet experience. I will definitely use this again :)

L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara Review + Haul

Hey everyone! I'm back with a review! I had midterms this week and one more next week so I won't be updating until I'm done for next week. Anyways, do you remember Givenchy mascara?! I did a review on that long time ago but today I was at Rite Aid and I found this!

L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara (in black noir)!

What it claims: "...the first mascara at mass with a spherical brush and smooth formula to lengthen and separate every lash. Creamy formula works with the unique patented brush to build quickly, leaving a flexible deposit of color."

Price: $8-$10 depending where you get it
Where to get it: Any drugstores

This is how the mascara looks like. I like the concept (telescope) and it does look like a telescope.

The wand. What I like about this wand is that it's LONGER than the Givenchy's. It gives me precise application. The thing is I have short eyelashes and it's EASIER for me to use this b/c I can apply mascara from any angle!

I made this picture turned into black and white so you guys can see the length it gives. However, I see some clumps at the tip of my eyelashes.

So this is my summary! (+) for goods and (-) for bad.

Overall, I like this mascara enough. I like that it gives length and I have TOTAL control of how I want to put on my mascara. This wand is MORE flimsy than Givenchy's but definitely CHEAPER and gets the job done. Any questions?

And since I was at Rite Aid, I saw Sally Hansen section. I managed to get a matte pressed powder so I can set my foundation.

The case seems very cheap though. I used it just now and I noticed that IF I put on TOO much, it will make my face hella white. I decided not to use this for my face BUT I used it to set powder under my eyes so that my eyeliner won't smudge! :D

And when my uncle was visiting, I went to CCO with him. I found a MAC blush in "blushbaby" and guess what? MAC's new collection! MAC e/s in "gilt by association." I forgot how much I got the e/s for but it's CHEAPER than the MAC store. I got the blush for $15.

EOTD & Maybelline Hauls

Hey everyone! Mannnn I'm so tired from school! It's so hard to keep up this quarter because of so many projects and readings. But anyways, I just want to say that it'll be impossible for me to update daily like I used to. So for now, I'll be updating about once a week or every two weeks?

Anyways, I was at Rite Aid the other day and I got a back up on Sally Hansen e/s base. This is my second one already. It's my favorite e/s base for a drug store brand. I've done a review on this before, click here if you want to read it.

I do like Revlon's fake eyelashes and I'm always on a look out for a new collection. But this one here, I have not seen it yet! It's called Twilight. I got it from Rite Aid also. I think it's because it's Halloween season right now and I've been seeing some weird fake eyelashes designs. I don't know when I'll use this though...

And seriously, I love Maybelline's eyeshadows! I'm almost done collecting every single e/s quad they have! I have yet to get 1 more quad for the smoke collection, which is the green quad that always run out :/ I thought the trio purple one is pretty so I got it also. I should show you guys my Maybelline e/s quads collection! Yes or no? Do you guys want to see them?

As you all know I got a new hair cut. I have a really nice picture on my iphone but I have no idea how to transfer the pictures into the computer yet. I just got an iphone :P But this picture is to show you my new bangs. I'm back to side bangs again. I dyed my hair in Medium Brown but I don't think this one shows you a good view of the color.

Another look I did using L'oreal Hip Duo e/s in Electrified. I'm in love with the purple in this duo!

Sorry for the lack of blogging! I have this art project due on Wednesday and I had to start all over on last Friday because the teacher said I was doing it wrong. I can not wait to show you guys what I did! I took a picture of it on my iphone too! The reason I'm having so much problem in my art class is because I need the program called Adobe Illustator. If you are in an art major, they prefer that you use a MAC but I have a PC at home and my laptop is too old to handle those programs. So I'm saving up to buy a MAC. It's SO expensive :( That's why I have to depend on school computers but it's not like the lab are always open you know?

AND my skin hasn't been great these past few days. I think it's because of stress, lack of sleep, and hormones? Shit, I don't know. But right now I have a pimple on my nose and I look like a rudolf or something! I should get some facial masks...

Hey everyone! Okay, so I know I said I'll be updating more but I haven't for the past 2 weeks because my uncle from Thailand came to visit and I had to take him out and stuff! So I've been a busy bee doing that and trying to adapt to my school schedule! But anyways, I want to talk about Maybelline's new stylish smoke quads that came out a while ago. I have always like Maybelline's eyeshadow since it is so easy to blend and some e/s are similar to MAC. I got my hands on one of them, which is the brown smoke quad. I think the color is SO sexy just by looking at it and I do love this quad! I wanted to try other quads but they always ran out! GRRRRRRR....but seriously, have you guys tried it? Did you like it? :) I think they should have came out with more than 4 (?) quads!

Grapefruit? I Don't Think So!

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been inconsistent with my blog! School started and it's a bit hectic right now (sigh). Anyways, name 1 brand you absolutely love! You LOVE it right? But you can't love everything from that brand. There is ALWAYS something that ruins it, and this is one of them...

Neutrogena Face Wash in Grapefruit, this should be discontinued! Why you ask?

So before I tell you what I dislike about it, I'll tell you what made me buy it in the first place. First of all, I'm a fan of Neutrogena. I like their products to a certain extent and have never been disappointed. I was at CVS looking for a new face wash because I like to switch up my face wash and test out other products before I settle down with one. I've tried the original face wash before (the orange one) and I liked it but this grapefruit one has got to go!

First of all, Vanessa Hudgen is a spoke model for this face wash and every time I see this on TV, it looks very refreshing. Second of all, it's pink and very feminine looking. Lastly, like I said before, I like Neutrogena so I thought of giving this a try.

Here's what went wrong:

The first time I used it, the scent was the first thing I noticed. It smells TERRIBLE! It smells nothing like grapefruit! It smells like a super fake bad grapefruit or something! The smell reminds me of cilantro (for some reason and I HATE cilantro). I cannot stand the scent of this! It makes me want to puke. My brother gave it one try and he thought the smell was funky. He's not very picky but he told me he doesn't want to use it. Seriously, what is up with the scent?! I kept using it for a while and I still hate it so I'm not going to force myself to use this anymore.

Other thing that bothers me is how it leaves my face so dry afterward. And I'm talking sandpaper desert dry. There is no oil whatsoever on my face! NO MOISTER at all!

So despite the cute color and "tempting" scent, this product is yucky. I will not repurchase this ever again! Unless they change the formula and the scent? Seriously, this is the worst face wash I have ever used.

If any of you girls use this and love it, tell me why. Because I cannot stand the smell at all. Please remember that this is just my opinion!

School is a bit hectic right now so I won't update til things are settle down. Maybe a week? But I hope everyone will have a great week! :)

This post is going to be a quick rant and nothing about makeup, feel free to skip.

So today is the first day of school and a few days ago I got sick. It feels horrible to come to school on the first day being sick. Food don't taste good either b/c my taste bud is all eff up.

I might have to give up my cat Dimitri to adoption...everyone in my house is allergic and we don't really have a place for him. This makes me really sad but as long as I live under my parent's house then I'll have to follow her rules. It's not for sure yet but it's about 70% that my cat is going to adoption :(

Another bad news is I used to work in an Art Gallery at my school last quarter and due to budget cut, they don't need me this quarter leaving me jobless at school. I'm looking for one right now but most likely it won't be in an Art department cause it's full. Damn, I really want some extra cash :( sad face times 10000000!

I have 20 mins til my first class of the day started so I'm going now.

I didn't drive to school today cause I'm to sick to drive so mom took me. Then bf will take me home once he gets out. Life sucks so much at the moment :(

Hey everyone! So I just got home from work not long ago and I really want to blog about some of the stuff that I didn't get to while I was gone. This one is a bit random!

I don't know how you guys stack up your lashes but this is how I do it! I got the tray from some asian cookie thing and it's easy for me to see which lashes is which and easy to grab! If you guys have a better way to store them, then show me!

And since I got my wisdom teeth out, I have to do this. You see, since they cut the gum, I have 3 holes in my mouth (the back of the wisdom teeth) and food tends to stuck there so I have to get it out by using this. At first I thought it looks like a scary process but not really. I use this like every night until the hole closes up but they haven't.

And I got a mini Chi! I think it smells really good! I bought the mini one b/c I wanted to try it out. If I run out, I'll definitely get the bigger one. Protect your hair ladies!

This is the current makeup remover that I've been using! I know there's a blue one too but I swear this works really well! I was like, "Forget the blue bottle!"

Favorite MAC lipstick at the moment is VELVET TEDDY! I bought this at CCO. It was like $11 or something. I absolutely LOVE the color!

My aunt that lives in Arizona sent me this as a bday gift. It's 100% real silver b/c my skin is super sensitive and if I have any fake silver, my skin will turn red. I actually really like this bracelet (just something about it is cute) and I haven't taken it off since! I think the charms are nemo?? Btw, I'm planning to visit her in Decemeber. What is Arizona like? Is it cold there in December? What's there to do?!

And for those of you who are curious, I still make jewelries for fun! I made this simple purple earrings 2 days ago. It's very plain but when you wear it while having your hair up, it's pretty!

I'm BACKKK!!!

Hey everyone! I'm finally back! After all those hectic events that has been happening is finally over! So now I'm back to blogging! :D

First, remember how I talked about getting my wisdom teeth out? Well, I did it! They took out 3 and cracked 2 of them b/c my jaw was small. I was not put asleep and man, it hurts! The dentist gave me many shots to numb my gum which is the most painful part! I was sooo nervous and I was shaking the whole entire time (about 45 minutes). They wont let me hold their hands so I have to hold on to the chair (meanie). After the process is over...I farted...b/c I was so scared! LOL! So here is a picture of my wisdom teeth:

Then...my 20th birthday just passed! 09-09-09! Seriously, such an awesome date/number! I wish I was 21 instead and of course, I would have been in Vegas! But anyways, I celebrated with friends & family! I don't know if you guys can see this but I'm wearing purple e/s! I cut the cake with 2 of my friends b/c our bdays are very close! 09/03, 09/06, and 09/09!

Then the other day my bf took me out to eat and we watched Coraline at his house :) I look so happy! And yes I gave him fake glasses, haha! And our 10 months was yesterday! Unfortunately we are broke so we didn't do anything big:

And I cut another cake with family. Man, I had this hollister shirt since I was in high school! It doesn't really fit anymore since I grew. But c'mon, cute picture no? :)

And today my big sis took me to eat korean bbq to celebrate my birthday. I gotta say I love a good korean bbq place! And yay for no makeup! haha

Ardell Fake Eyelashes + Dimitri

Hey everyone! I know it's been a while since I've blogged. I'm still working on some personal issues at home so please bare with me. But I find something amazing and I want to share it with you guys.

You see, I'm not a big fan of Ardell Fake Eyelashes at first because the first time I used it (I forgot what # it is) but I didn't like how they look on my eyes and how it droops and block a part of my eyes. Idk if you guys know what I'm talking about. Maybe it's just me BUT a few weeks ago I've stumble upon Ardell Demure Fake Eyelashes (picture below) and I thought it looked natural (which is the kind of eyelashes I was looking for) so I bought 2 pairs to give it a try.

Closer look: It doesn't droop too low which didn't block a part of my eyes

Before you ask what e/s I used, I used MAC hello kitty palette in too dolly. It was for my 9 months with my bf :)

So about the lashes, I totally love them. It's the only Ardell lashes that I like. I like how natural it looks from the side view. And when I curled them, they actually stayed up! (sorry no picture on that -- forgot to take them). I definitely recommend this! DEMURE ALL THE WAY!

I got them at CVS but Rite Aids and other drugstores should have them too :) And if you have already tried this, tell me your experiences with them!

It's been about 2 weeks now since he has stay at my house. He actually knows how to use the litter box so I didn't have to teach him. He seems comfortable in my house now and he always come to me when I come home now :)

OH! I'm getting out my wisdom teeth this coming up Thursday (Aug 27th) and I'm hella scared! I'll be swollen for a few days...sigh. I need to prepare myself mentally too! I've been stuffing myself with all the food I want to eat before I can't eat it after getting them out.

Also, my 20th birthday is coming up next month and I'm pretty excited! :) My bf already gave me the presents too! I'll probably upload pictures the next time I blog.

And I just want to say THANK YOU for sticking by and still reading my blog! I really do appreciate and miss all of my blogger friends. I'm really waiting for everything to die down so I can settle and blog more again. I still love makeup and shopping but currently need to save up. I have so much on my mind right now and sometimes I get really depressed. I'm just thinking about my future and how can I improve myself at the moment. I got a kitty! OUT OF NOWHERE!

So here is the story, I went to my friends house last week to see his new dog and while I was there, he told me there are some kittens around his area and they come to eat his dog's food. We couldn't catch the kitty at first but yesterday, we caught it!

I went to Ralphs to get it some milk, cat food, and a disposable little box (all of that for $7!) b/c I wasn't sure my mom would let me keep him. My mom is not a big fan of cats b/c one peed on her when she was in college...

While I was driving home, it was on my lap. It didn't freak out in the car at all.

I brought it home last night and everyone was amazed and curious. At the end, the kitty slept and woke me up at 8 in the morning today with it's meow! All the food and milk was gone too!

So today I went to the vet so that the kitty can have its shots. I also got it groomed and got some supplies for it. I'm pretty sure that my mom is letting me keep it. She was scared of it but she gave it a toy. My mom loves animals so I don't think she'll be against it. Besides, I'm taking care of it :)

So here is a video introducing my very first kitty, DIMITRI! (A boy). And turn up your volume!

About Dimitri:
-I went to the vet today and he told me it's about 4 months old
-The breed is unknown b/c I think it's a mix. After all it was a stray kitty! But the vet called it domestic short hair...something like that
-Dimitri is orange/tan and white all over
-Very gentle but not very playful for now
-Likes to hide under the sofa/bed a LOT...I always have to get it out
-It does not bite at all. You can just grab it but it's pretty fast
-It meows a LOT

And since I have no idea how to take care of a kitty, would you guys help me out by answering these questions?
-How do I train it to shit in the litter box??
-How many times do I feed it? I just leave the food and water out and the kitty eats whenever it wants for now
-Why does it keep meowing?!

Quick Update

Hey everyone! I'm still in the middle of finishing up things on my to do list (previous post) but I just want to give you guys a little update! So many of you wants to know more about my hair. It grew out a bit and the color of my hair (auburn) isn't as red anymore but toward brown now. And I changed the color of my eyebrows to match my hair! :D

Lack Of Update -- Why?

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of update but I've been so sick for a week or so now. I have a fever of 100 and I had to go see the doctor twice. The thing is every time I get sick, my throat/ tonsils get swollen and my throat will hurt badly. Pretty much inflamed. I've been in bed and all I can do was sleep. I don't have much appetite either. My mom also wont let my leave home until I'm completely better. I'm so sick of sleeping, eating, and everything else. The medicine also gives me diarrhea (side effect) so life is pretty crappy right now.

My-My surprised me with a love package! This came a few days ago but I was too sick to even blog. Her package has tons of stickers on it! I swear this made my day when I saw it. I was sooo sick.

When I opened it, I saw this:

And when I opened the bag, I got tons of goodies such as nail stickers, revlon palette, earrings, a comb, lipgloss, and some candies :) Thank you My-My! I already ate everything, lol.

No makeup cause I'm sick :( Noticed the back of my hair has super short layers for volumn. The bad thing is, when I wake up, it's a hot mess!

Besides all of that, I have not gone out and see the world since the 16th. I really hope I'll get better soon. I feel so weak :(

And I will not be updating this blog for a while due to many reasons:

1. My family's new restaurant is in the process of opening but there are some issues that we have to fixed, then we can open. I'll be working there until school starts and my mom wants me to work 7 days/week. If you were a waitress sometime in your life, you will know it's really tiring.

2. My dentist called about wisdom teeth appointment. Since I am sick at the moment, my mom doesn't want me to get them out just yet. This might conflict with working at the restaurant too. I'm not sure if I can push this until December when I have winter break. And no, I'm not getting put to asleep. And I do not know when the appointment is yet...for now.

3. I haven't even seen my bf for so long. I've been sick and it's getting in a way of everything. He has summer school and work so it's hard for both of us to find time to be together so I want to focus more on him too.

4. My uncle and his mom is coming to visit in August and I will have to drive them everywhere. If you have relatives coming to visit from another country, it is quite a handful and frustrating b/c you don't seem to get privacy...sigh.

5. I have to take care of my bank/bills and school registration that is coming up soon.

6. I have to help my sister move into a new apartment.

7. I'm going through this self-improvement time where I need to see how can I become a better person (in every way).

I will try to read everyone's blog while I'm "gone" but I don't guarantee that. But please look forward to when I'm coming back. This doesn't mean I'm leaving for good. I want to say that I'll be back in late Sept or early October but I'm not sure. Hopefully I can improve myself greatly when I come back.

Hey ladies! It's been a while since I updated! I haven't been using fake eyelashes lately b/c I find them annoying at times. Sometimes, if I messed up (meaning didn't put it on right), it will bother me for the rest of the day! My bf said he likes me better without it b/c he loves me the way I am :) Yesterday is our 8 months!

This week I didn't put on makeup everyday but when I do, I snap pictures to show you guys!

You know, I hate putting on mascara on the bottom of my lashes. They are not long at all which makes it hard to aim! I envy my bf's eyelashes. He told me I can have them but it's not like I can just yank it out! LOL

I've been wanting a heated eyelash curler! This one is from essence of beauty. You can get this at CVS! I checked the web site and I believe there are 2 colors, black or pink. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, My-My was talking about this traveling kit! I don't mind double sided brushes :)

I found this Revlon matte lipstick in "pink pout" and I thought it was such a nice pink color! Below is a lipgloss from Sally's. It's called "orchid." I think these 2 go well together. My bf refers to the lipstick color as "barbie lipstick color"

Also, I picked up cvs brand nail polish remover. It's about $4-$5. I have no idea if it's any good but I'll let you know! I'm on a search for a good nail polish remover for a good price!

My nails grew out and I cut out all the blue part of my nails. The color that I'm using is from ELF called "pearl pink." It's a very feminine pink! I like it!

I get pedicure almost every 2 weeks b/c I have ingrowth nails and I have to get it cut/fix. My bf likes natural/nude color nails for my feet b/c it looks cleaner. I agree :) Ever since then I never got bold colors for my feet! Either nude or something almost nude! I personally love my feet. I don't think my feet is ugly at all. I don't want to sound conceited but I noticed that girls always say "don't look at my feet!"

Out of the topic, who here knows this drink? MILO! I love MILO! :D

There's a lot of events this month. My 8 months with bf just passed and my grandmother's bday just passed! My sister's and best friend's birthdays are coming in a few days! Oh boy I'm so broke!

I went to see Bruno and I thought the movie was short and okay. I laughed here and there but I was like whatever. I want to see Harry Potter so badly! Also, the bf promised to take me to see the Proposal next week :)

Man, I can't wait for Fall season to get here. It's very hot in SoCal!

I know it seems like I've disappeared. I still read everyone's blogs but I don't get to comment as much as before -_-

So I went to the dentist and he x-ray my teeth and gave me a long talk about the procedure. I don't think I'm getting put to sleep...FML! The scary part that I'm most scared of is the needle part. My Last Elf Haul?

Hey everyone! So let me tell you what happened about this Elf haul. I ordered these since the last week of May and I waited until NOW to get this package! Why? Because something went wrong and it got sent back to the warehouse. I had to go thru going to the post office, calling customer services, and emailing the company to ask where the hell is my package?!

In the end, I had to confirm my address again and guess what? They gave me a full refund. So this haul is FREE for me :) Yay!!!

What I got:
-mini eyelash curler (I got 2 but gave 1 to sis)
-slant tweezer
-defining eye brush
-blending eye brush
-$5 gift card

These brushes are $1 each. I must say the blending brush is pretty good. I give it 4/5! However, the defining eye brush was "meh." I would give it a 3/5 just because the brush isn't full which makes it kind of too filmsy to define. But it should work still.

I got this tweezer also. Honestly, it's a pretty ordinary tweezer and there is nothing special about it. I feel like it's the same quality as any normal tweezer (tweezerman is still the best brand for tweezer for me)! But then again, for $1, it does get the job done. The handle doesn't have this heavy resistant so I can tweezer as fast as I want. Also the shapen part isn't dull. I thought it would suck but nope! 4/5

Okay, this is a total disappointment. I've been eyeing on Shu Umera mini eyelash curler but it cost about $17. I thought I can find a replacement for it by using Elf's b/c they have a mini eyelash curler for $1. I THOUGHT WRONG! You see, the handle has this resistant which makes it hard for me to curl my eyelashes. I feel like I have to push it really hard but then I'm scared that I'll rip off my eyelashes!

This is the result of using the mini eyelash curler. At first I thought since it's mini, I can use it to curl my lashes section by section. But the thing is, when I try to do that, it will messed up the other part instead. As you can tell from the picture below, my lashes are not even fully curled because when I tried to re-curl some section, it would bend my other part of my eyelashes! I say I'm better off with a regular eyelash curler. I guess sometimes brand really does matter. I give this 2/5!

The reason I said this might be my last Elf haul isn't because of the shipping problem. It is because I bought so many things from them and I feel like I've tried out everything already (most). Basically there is nothing else for me to try. I thought I was interested in their new line (the $2 one) but they are all the same except the packaging. Overall, it was a good experience and cheap but I think I want to move on to a better brand because of the quality. Trust, buying form Elf was really fun for me but I really think that Elf doesn't have the best quality in terms of makeup. That is just my honest opinion.

Also, I just have to tell you guys about this chapstick! To me, by far, this is the best chapstick I've ever freaken used! BETTER THAN BURTS BEE (in my opinion). It keeps my lips moisture and omg it smells soo good! I can't stop sniffing it! Also it has spf 4 in it! Ladies, from my knowledge, please remember that even though there are makeup products out there that has like freaken 55 spf, it won't do shit. All you need is like 30-35 and you're good. Higher than that and it doesn't do anything. Keep that in mind!

You can purchase this at any drug store, I believe. I think they have other colors too but I haven't tried it. I've been using this daily!

And how many ladies out there feel like cleaning your makeup is such a pain in the butt?! That's how I feel! I like makeup but damn, it takes foreverrrrrrr! This isn't even all my brushes but these are my most used!

I feel so uninspired lately that's why I don't feel like updating. My nails are still messed up and blue so I can't do NOTD. I'm really giving my nails a big break! I've thought of using products that will heal my nails but the best way is natural. Everything natural is better, keep that in mind!

I don't want to sound conceited but lately I really like my face without makeup. At most I would put on foundation but that is it. It's hot in the Summer and I've got used to seeing my face like that. For some reason, I feel prettier or cuter! LOL! Maybe it's because I'm happy? I heard that when a woman is happy, she becomes prettier! Don't get me wrong, I'm not planning on stop using makeup! It's just that I'm lazy and I feel kind of cute being natural :) Who's feeling that way at the moment?

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been updating much. I'm just waiting for my ninja contest to end which is on July 1st!

Since it's summer, my sleeping pattern is really messed up, lol! Who's with me on that?! And I stayed inside my house most of the time in daylight since it's hot so I have no reason to put on makeup cause no one is going to see me. That explains why I haven't had any posts!

Wet n Wild Makeup Remover Review, Jewelries, and Awards

Hey everyone! Guess what I discovered today at Rite Aids? I stumbled upon Wet n Wild Makeup Remover! And since it's cheap, I thought why not give it a try? So here is my review on it!

Brand: Wet n Wild
Price: $1.99 (at Rite Aids)
How much it contains: 3.0 oz
Scent: Toward fruity

I like how when you open the bottle (you have to spin the cap), there is...this! LOL I have no idea what it is called but for sure, your makeup remover will not come out or spill b/c of it! Honestly, since it's $1.99 I thought they wont have it :P

Here I have all types of eyeliners (liquid, cream, pencil), 2 types of mascara (waterproof and non waterproof) and a black e/s to test it out!

And after a few more swipes, everything came off

After rinsing my hand thru water and wipe it with a tissue, it's clean :)

For me, I will repurchase this makeup remover again. Since it's small, it is easy to for traveling. I don't have to worry about it spilling out either. For a price of $1.99, it really gets the job done. It removed both waterproof and non waterproof makeup. What I like is that it has this fruity scent when you smell from the bottle. It did not leave any oily feeling and it did not sting (for me at least). This is not comparable to Clinique's makeup remover (the purple bottle) but it will remove your makeup! That concludes my new discovery/review! More info, check it out here :)

And I also made a few new jewelries! This one is called blooming dale bracelet. My sister saw it and took it right away, LOL! DSK has the blooming dale earrings!

I called this star glazer! It has swarovski crystals in the star pendant and a clear swarovski crystal next to it. Don't mind the price tag, I am not selling this one!

Hey everyone! If you noticed, I changed my layout again! Here's the thing. So a few days ago I went to a friend's graduation party and it's kind of like a Mexican fiesta kind of party so I went for a pink eotd! You know, I'm really sick of how my real eyelashes would not stay up! How do you girls do it?

And I got a package from Narita a couple of days ago too! If you remember, I was one of the lucky winners and my prize is MAC dazzleglass in baby sparks but the package was really big so I was like, "huh?"

Oh what?! She sent me tons of hello kitty stuff! I love the chocolate and everything! Of course I already ate them all :) But wow! I didn't expect this at all! She sent me hk chocolates, hk chapstick, a pair of fake eyelashes, a cute cell phone charm, nose strip, face mask, and bath powder! And the prize!

My prize :D So now I have baby sparks and sugar rimmed!

I had to attend my sister's friend's wedding yesterday. It was a Korean wedding too! Since my nails are messed up at the moment, being blue and all, I didn't want to paint them so I got this Revlon nail kit that people seem to like!

And here's the final look! I really like the length which is medium. The thing is, even tho I get acrylic nails, I prefer to have them short b/c I have to txt, to type, to pick my nose, all that stuff and I'm not a big fan of long nails so this is good for me :) One thing I really dislike is the air bubble. Other than that, I like it!

I did my older sister's makeup but she won't let me take a close up picture. She said she doesn't want to be on my blog. She's a private person, you see. So this is the best picture I can get! She prefers super natural look! So I did mineral foundation, brown e/s, brown eyeliner, a pink blush, and a pink lipstick. She has oily eyelids so I skipped the eyeshadow base!

I did this for the wedding. I stick to natural colors like brown too. Again with the real eyelashes! Why don't it stay up?! Grrr! You know what I feel like? I feel like taking out all of my real fake eyelashes on the top so that I can forever use fake eyelashes and won't have to worry about the real one that keep falling down. WHAT DO YOU THINK?! LOL, crazy, I know!

I also went out with my bf today to Glendale Galleria Mall. He was in a good mood and he decided to get me something from MAC. He knows I like blushes and he was trying to pick the color for me. I did a swatch on my hand and the store and he likes this color. It's "sincere"

Here is a close up picture. I will probably do a swatch of it later but the color is very sheer and soft. I think it will be perfect for everyday :) Thank you boyfriend! And usually he doesn't buy me makeup. This is the 2nd makeup thing he ever bought for me so don't think I live off of him!

I still have to show you guys new jewelries stuff that I made! I shall do that on the next post!

L'Oreal HIP High Intensity Pigments Shocking Shadow Pigments Review

Hey girls! If you remember a while ago, I did a few looks using L'Oreal HIP High Intensity Pigments Shocking Shadow Pigments! You can find these in any drugstores, I believe. It cost about $11.99 each, more or less depending on where you buy it. If I'm right, there are 12 colors. Currently, I own about 8 of them.

Here is what I have right now:

When you open the cap, there will be a small circle foam. After you lift up the small circle foam, there is a plastic sticker that you will have to peel off if it is the first time you are opening the jar.

Here are my swatches:

In my opinion, if you don't want to invest in MAC pigments, which are more expensive, then consider these! I find them very pigmented! They are pretty long lasting and they have shimmering effect. I wish there are more than just 12 colors! I can't wait to get all of them! I really do like these pigments. If you have any questions, just ask. This is a pretty short review.

Also...I think I've painted my nails too much and look what happened! My nails turned blue! or green? Only half of my nails seem to remain healthy. I do use a base before using any nail polish but I think my nails need a long break. Do you girls have this problem too? I guess you won't be seeing me doing NOTD for a while.

Man, my sleeping pattern is all messed up! It's 5 in the morning right now and last night I slept around this time too. This happens like every Summer! Alright, I'm off to bed!

Whewwwww, what a long nomination!

Here is the bad news. I've been wanting to get a kitty and my friends happened to rescued 5 of them near where she lived. They were all abandoned and very tiny! They can't even open their eyes yet but they already have fur. I was supposed to go see them tomorrow and pick 1 but my friend called me and told me they all died. She said that they were very small and the mom isn't there and she tried to feed them and stuff. I cried so hard. It's funny how I haven't even seen it but I cried so hard. My bf told me it's probably not meant to be and he cheered me up a bit. I guess it's because I was hoping really badly to get one. Sigh.

But the good news is I won another giveaway! This time it's from AbcgrrrL! At first I didn't know until I read the comments from the previous post! I was like say whaaaaat?! 2 times this week?! SHIT MANG IT'S MY LUCKY WEEK or something! I'm very very excited! Thank you so much!

Wow...overall, it's about 3 times that I won something from a giveaway. First, DSK's then Narita's, and now AbcgrrrL's! Thank you so much! Since I'm getting stuff I feel like giving too! I know I said I want to do a giveaway once I hit 200 followers but I might do one before! I don't think I can wait, LOL! But then that depends on the money issue too.

Oh yeah, another update. So as you all know I work at school and I get paid once a month. The thing is, the Art Gallery (where I work at) closed during Summer which means I got no money. I've started this job in April and so far I've 2 paychecks. I'm waiting to pick the last one up in July. So my mom helped me out and paid all my bills at the time. With all 3 paychecks, I was able to pay her back. Good right? Well, stupid me. Now I have to pay my NEW bills. Sigh.

The thing is my family is opening our family restaurant very soon. That's how I'm going to get paid. We had one before and sold it after 5 years of business. So technically this is our second restaurant. I can't wait to have it opened. I really need money. My plan is to have it opened (so I can know my schedule) then pick up a second job. I'm not going to school this Summer. I just want to stack up on money because I know that once I go back to school, I'm going to have to wait at least another month til my first paycheck comes in. I swear, don't wait for your financial aids to save your money problem!

EOTD & F21 Haul

Hey everyone! Today, I did another purple look! I haven't used a pencil eyeliner for a very long time! I smudge it a bit though.

Close up! As you can see, there is some shimmer to it.

I used 3 e/s. 1 from MAC and the other 2 from Maybelline quad.

Also, I got my eyebrows waxed and my skin got irritated! I'm pretty mad b/c my face was really clear until this irritation happens! I think from now on, I'm going to thread or pluck them instead of getting it waxed.

I hate the color of my hair right now! LOOK AT IT! There's black, brown, and the blonde highlight is back! Grrrr!!! I'm going to go buy another box and dye it. I might get a darker color. Omg my lip was really dry, please excuse! And you can see the skin irritation b/w my eyebrows right?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I got a few things at F21! I got this mini purse for $5!

I got the bird necklace too! The chain is very short though.

And this colorful bead necklace! Very long.

These earrings scream "Summer"

All flowers, baby! Again, totally Summer!

And you guys have to get this! I got this blush brush from F21 and it's $4.80! It's VERY soft!!! Comes in pink, blue, and yellow. This was the last one at the store I went to and I had to get it. I swear, I didn't think it will be this soft!

Good news! I finally filled up my MAC palettes! So now, I have 2 palettes! I'm not in a hurry to fill them up. At the moment, I am content with all of the e/s I have.

The following purchases are from Target! I got this purse for $17.99! I've been eyeing on it for a few weeks now. LOVE IT!

My bf has this mp3 too! It's wireless and good for ppl who wants to work out and listen to music at the same time. Forget IPOD! It's way cheaper than an IPOD too! I get so annoyed with the wires/headphones. He got the black one. I got pink. There's a white one too! He said the shapes reminds him of a heart (he's majoring in nursing) but I told him it looks like a pretzel!

I also go this mouse pad for $10. I like how there is a cushion for my wrist!

Have you guys ever heard of this makeup brand called Pixi? I haven't tried this yet. This palette is called pretty perky. Consists of 2 eyeshadows, 1 blush, and 2 lipgloss. The blush reminds me of Nars Orgasm (just by looking at it).

So far I have 3 entries to my contest, be a ninja! Ends on July 1st! Honestly, the contest isn't very hard and the prizes are great! If I get more entries, I will add more to the prize! About the mask, if you are having diffifulties, I just used a black long sleeve shirt and tie it around my head! Also, you can be any color ninja! :)
